Do you prefer reading a paper book, a digital reader book, or listening to an audio book?

My problem with audiobooks is that I prefer the sound of my voice as I read them. The exception to that is if the author does the audio themselves. Then you can get a better idea of what they were thinking as they wrote it.

Paper, always. I am very old fashioned. There's nothing quite like the smell of opening a new book. The tactile and olfactory sensations are irreplaceable, for me.
I have to be absorbed in the act of reading. Audiobooks don't do that for me. It's too easy to get distracted. I've tried a number of times but they just aren't my thing.
Hi Everyone
I'm a voracious reader so I like reading anything that catches my eye. In my youth it was Science Fiction in my adult years when the internet came then the 'Internet' and during those years while listening to our national radio 'ABC' I would listen to stories being told by various people.
So yeah love all three mediums.
Best Wishes Always

Reading is important for literacy and being educated. It is also quite fun at times.

I am still a Sci-Fi freak, as you can tell from my writings. When I was a junior in high school, I spent an entire weekend lying on the couch reading the Foundation trilogy. I loved all the greats but Heinlein and Asimov were my favorites. I haven't read much fiction lately. I should fix that.

^^^^This Definitely This^^^^That means you are truly my sister Sis!!
Two of my all time favourite authors are of course Asimov and Heinlein, especially the Foundation series and I Robot (which was woven into the Foundation series) and Stranger in a Strange land and the amicable Lazurus Long in Time Enough for Love by Heinlein, absolute classics.
Minerva being one of my favourite characters as well in Time Enough for Love, I wonder why? I will always read those stories and never grow tired of doing so.

A coworker of mine had a First Edition of Stranger in a Strange Land. That is one of my favorites too.
Another must-read is Job: A Comedy of Justice.
I am very... narrow minded when it comes to sci-fi. I love the Iain M. Banks "Culture" novels. Where people see changing sex as a part of life. If you haven't read those, you really should. I have never been a huge sci-fi person, though. I prefer High Fantasy. Tolkien, Gemmell, those kinds of writers. I feel like it's very hard to world build a good sci fi series. Very few people get it right, most people get it wrong.
Paper!
Unfortunately I had to switch to a 6" e-reader due to hand issues. The books that I read are large (voracious reader) and I can no longer hold them
I like paper books. I like audio books in the car but do not always have one going.
Digital books are convenient. They do not add to the weight of my telephone in my purse, no matter how digital books there are. I have enough stuff in the purse that weighs it down as it is.
