The next James Bond movie.
Oh yes, the next Star Trek movie.

I am not sure there will be another one of those. Top Gun: Maverick was like... the perfect sequel. Arguably better than the original. I doubt they'll make another. It wouldn't work without Tom Cruise and, well, he's not getting any younger. It took a long, LONG time to make Maverick. Mostly because he didn't want it to be some awful rip off of the first one.
I am looking forward to Alien: Romulus. I am planning to watch it over Christmas with my girlfriend. I am a massive fan of the Alien series of movies. Not so much the spinoff prequel ones that are more like a movie director's LSD trip funded by a movie studio. Those didn't do it for me.
From the trailer I saw, it's like a modern day Aliens (one of my favourite movies ever made).
In most cases I think that movies should not be remade. I think that you should leave them as they are and watch them in the time they were made. This is most true for a movie like Total Recall. Or Robocop. Those remakes just suck because the people who make them don't understand the world climate at the time they were made. The OG Robocop is a dystopian Cyberpunk retrofuture movie. The remake is purely to send a message to how everyone is spying on us and the nanny state.
One franchise I think has just got better over time though, is Bad Boys. It took a LONG time to make the 3rd and 4th movies, but they've lost none of what made them awesome. Will Smith and Martin Lawrence just have so much chemistry together. I would love to see another. They are the Lethal Weapon of the modern age. ;D
Waiting for the new Happy Gilmore movie, but it will be lacking something without a couple of the original stars who died. Happy Gilmore is a classic golf movie and it had a happy ending.
"Play it where the ball lies" was iconic in two scenes.

Did you ever see the Sandler movie "Uncut Gems"? That was wild!
"Unfightable", a new documentary about Alana McLaughlin's experience as a transgender MMA fighter. I already received a pre-release screening link from the director, so I the surprise is done for me. But I'm working on getting a local cinema to show it.
