Do you like to eat brownies?
Do you prefer them with hardened edges?
Chrissy
I like them, and also fudge.
No... as I understand them, they look solid but like... you bite into a world of sweetness? Gooey and horrible? Like someone put them in the oven and got a call from their pilates instructor 10 minutes later?
What is this sorcery?
Is the grass green? Heck yes!! ;D
I like both cake brownies and fudge brownies. Of the two, I prefer the fudge brownies, but I wouldn't turn down a good cake brownie. There is a bakery an 18 minute, 35 second (not that I'm counting) drive down the highway from here where they make the world's best cake brownie. They stopped stocking them as daily fare, but will make a pan of them on request for a very reasonable price.
The local Boston Pizza has some of the best fudge brownies.

I prefer not to eat any small children.

Have my share of brownies so tasty
Made some coz of this post, found an air fryer recipe that was chuck it in a bowl and whisk. Trouble was it said 330F for 15 mins (150C?) and centre was still runny/uncooked, cooked it longer but centre still runny so cut the cooked edges off and scooped it into a small bowl and cooked it. Had that for pudding with yogurt.

Davina,
Is your food speciality (expertise in making) curries? You mention it a lot for your evening meals so I was wondering.
Chrissy
Thats my main food I eat, not all the time but mostly. I find it suits my system and things like meat and 2 veg lack taste. Made from scratch curries are good as you know what went in it, no additives or preservatives or other chemicals. Also its only as hot as you make it.

I have a brownie recipe that makes them in the microwave, and it's pretty good.. basically throw stuff in a bowl, whisk it and microwave it for a few minutes, then you get brownies.. I also have a treacle sponge recipe for the microwave that is amazing! I can post if anyone is interested?

That sounds too good to be true. I use a mix in a box and make them in the oven.
We cook ours using an old family recipe that I believe came from our American relatives. Spoiler: we sometimes use walnuts in them.
We both like them best when the bottom half is just undercooked and they are at their peak when they are just cool enough to eat. Moorish. Shame about all the calories, but at least they've never pinned anything on chocolate.
Sounds good!
Chrissy
I am hungry and am looking for a fresh brownie to munch on.
I may need to settle for a little bag of peanuts. I know I have one of those left.
