Or more precisely not long enough sleeves problem. I am having a hard time finding outfits with long sleeves that fit. I am 6"
With 34-35 sleeve length. Any suggestions as to finding outfits with longer sleeves?
I feel your pain. I'm 6ft 1in tall and need a similar sleeve length. I've had a moderate amount of success looking for tops, sweaters, and jackets which have 'thumbhole' sleeves. These have a cutout in the cuffs so you can put a thumb through them. I rarely use the thumbholes, but tops with this feature usually have extended length sleeves. Other than that, get used to 'long sleeves' actually being 3/4 length. Good luck!

Thanks for the tip Jessica, I will give this a try. I have found a couple cute bohemian style tops with the flared sleeves. These seem to run a bit longer as well. Fortunately I am a bit of a hippie chic and like this style. ☮️ 💗
These online retailers do offer long sleeves that fit (I am 6'6" and they do fit me):
- American Tall (https://americantall.com/collections/tall-womens-clothing-collection) (they even have an Extra Tall size scale, for women between 6'1" and 6'6"!!)
- Alloy Apparel (https://www.alloyapparel.com)
- Tall Size (https://www.tallsize.com)
- Simply Tall (https://simplytall.com)
- Long Tall Sally (https://www.longtallsally.com) (they are UK based and ship from there, so shipping times are a bit longer)
Hope this helps.
Hugs,
Heidemarie

Long Tally Sally sounds promising 😃
Thank you for taking the time to post these sites. Can't wait to see what pretty things they have to offer.
3/4 sleeve shirts at first seem unusual but they are nice for seeing your bracelets, watches, bangles, and making sure your sleeves do not get wet or dirty when working with things.
I would go for shirts and blouses in tall sizes. That is your best bet for the longest sleeves possible. Or go for short sleeves or no sleeves or puff sleeves, etc.
Another thing you can do is to simply roll up your long sleeves. Many a top have roll tabs and an extra button on the outer top half of the sleeve to attach the roll tab to. Then the sleeve stays put.

I was thinking more about this desire for longer long sleeve tops. Tall sizes for sure.
Maybe you can buy oversized tops. They are bigger than usual. Maybe that is a source.
Perhaps Oxford style female shirts would run longer too.
Of course a woman can wear men's long sleeve shirts but I doubt you want those.

One final idea for now is to wear a long sleeve sweater on top of the shirt or blouse.
You might want to try a camisole. It is a nice piece of clothing.
It is not going to solve your long sleeves issue but it nice to wear under a shirt.

Thanks Chrissy, I will definitely buy a few camisoles. I think they will look nice with my new jeans under the suede jacket I purchased. Do you have a favorite brand you can recommend?

No not really. I just get the style I want.

This is a versatile piece of clothing, found in various types of materials.
I just get the polyester ones, feels soft like satin, similar to most slips.
Tracie,
Have you been able to get some shirts or blouses with sleeve lengths that work for you?
Chrissy
Tracie,
Did you get to try out a camisole?

I have accepted the 3/4 sleeve look. My 36+ inch arms only fit custom work in most cases. If one is handy with a sewing machine sometimes modifications work.
My sweetie wears tunics with 3/4 or cuff length sleeves.

Probably the best bet for nearer to wrist sleeve length for shirts and other tops is the tall sizes. The tails will be slightly longer also.

I wonder if those "boyfriend" shirts have longer sleeves than usual.
I do not know.
