Love the way my husband sees me as and I agree with him, a beautiful and gorgeous woman. I remember him being about the 4th guy I went out with. The 3 previous guys grossed out on me before I met him although I was being honest. With him telling him I am a pre op transsexual, said he seen me as a beautiful and gorgeous woman. He did date a couple trans women before me that were being divas and bossy. With me, he did not see me that way and knew I was the one for him and we have been together ever since. I am the same person he met to this day.

That is great, I know how good it feels to be loved by a good man
My story differs to yours, I met my husband when I was post-op. I met him at a destination wedding, I was a bridesman and he was one of the best men. Each best man brought one of the bridesmans down the isle before the bride came down isle. He was my partner (since we were the only 2 single people in the wedding party)
We hit it off, when started dating I did tell him that I was a postop trans woman, as I wanted to start the relationship off truthfully, so if he never accepted it, he could walk away.. as I could not imagine the hurt if it came out 2 or 3 years later. I had the added complication, as I slept with him during the wedding weekend, I was suppose to not see him again after that (my wild one night stand).. well our paths crossed again (actually the bride set us up again after the wedding - and no she had no idea what happened between us during her wedding)
He accepted it, we had a long chat about it, he had questions etc and told me, he sees me as a beautiful woman that he really wants to get to know better and I am all woman to him. Then we started dating, which later blossomed into marriage.
IT was important to me, that he knew the truth.
Honesty is the best policy. You were right to give him the opportunity to decide for himself if this was something that he wanted to pursue. I love this story!
Thanks for sharing.
It is comforting to know that it is not an exception to be able to find love after transition. And for that to be a true and deep love like any other couples love. We are, after all, human beings first and we only went through a transition to fix a problem we had.
My husband knew my history before we started dating and it has never made any difference to him. He has only known me as Sarah and now he calls me his wife. Its an unremarkable, heterosexual relationship. We love each other deeply. He is my soulmate, my best friend, my lover, my strength and my confidante. I just wish we had met when we were in our 20's and not our 50's

So lovely to read this, I'm married to my husband now 13 years and he still reminds me I'm a beautiful and gorgeous woman, he didn't know my history when we met and it was after several dates that I disclosed I was a post-op trans woman, he was shocked and couldn't believe I was born ''male'' he asked me lots of questions about my transition, we dated for nearly 2 years, he proposed to me and we got engaged, we're now married 13 years, the spark is still there, sometimes in the evening we'd be just relaxing looking at TV, he'd reach out and take my hand, kiss me and whisper in my ear ''lets have an early night sweetie'' making me feel very feminine and accepting me for the woman I now am, being married to hubby has made such a difference to me and made my life so much happier now and life as a woman. It was the last thing I expected after transition ended up as a married woman and married to a wonderful man.
I met my husband in 2013, very early in my transition process when i decided after a lifetime of relationships with women, I would try going out with men... I took to it like a duck to water! Two months ago we celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary and we view every day have together as a blessing... Before I started transition, I never would have dreamed the love of my life would be a guy! 🌻

Pauline!
Thanks so much for the kind words beautiful sister! I had expected that finding the right dress would be a long and somewhat agonizing process but, I found that dress at the first little shop I went to... I knew it was the one as soon as I tried it on and then the shop owner told me the designer did dresses for Stevie Nicks and that sealed the deal up tight! 🤗 The shoes took a bit more sleuthing... I ended up with about 5 pairs of candidates but, that pair took the prize!
I am so glad you two found such happiness together ❤️ (despite the occasional eye roll) 😅
Onward We Go!
