Ended up in the ER Monday night and glad my husband was home. I was grading papers at the time not feeling well and suddenly bad chest pains. My husband noticed something was not right and knew to get me to the ER telling him I was having bad chest pains and not feeling well. I got in right away once I got there put in a wheel chair saying chest pains. Did all the tests, found 3 arteries plugged up being told 3 stents put in. The stents were put in the next day and now recovering which I came home yesterday. The recovery process has been good getting get well cards from school staff and students. I admit that it was scary and now feeling a whole lot better. I made the doctors happy, asked me if I smoked and told them no. Going back to work on Monday
Get well soon
Hope you feel much better.

Felt like someone took a hammer to my chest and going to take time to fully heal
Yikes!... Glad you are still on the right side of the grass!...May your recovery be quick and complete!

I would of ended up dead if it was not taken care of right away, heart problem history runs bad in both of my parent's families. I am aware of the heart problem history taking it seriously
Scary stuff Nikki. Glad you had the sense to go to the hospital right away. I hope the healing goes smoothly.
Hugs
I had something like this happen to me last year. It was right on Christmas Eve at midnight. I had a pulmonary embolism so my brother called 911 and they got me to the ER.
My heart and lungs were all clotted. The clots had to be removed through a vein in my groin.
It wasn't fun.
