How my male friends took it has been amazing with my transition. I admit it was not easy to tell them at first that I was going to transition becoming female. Right away, they did accept and knew I was struggling inside to fit in and hurting inside. They came to terms I will be much happier and said I am still their friend being there for support. Supported me through my transition which was a huge help. To this day, say I am the same person but much happier as my true self.
