I like maple syrup on either.
Sometimes blueberries.

Sometimes butter on pancakes, but not on waffles.  Unsure why just on pancakes.

I like waffles but if I have a choice I will usually take pancakes.   
Buttermilk pancakes are my favorite but Buckwheat pancakes are
a close 2nd. 

Butter and maple syrup for sure.

Buttermilk pancakes and some sausage links sounds pretty good.
