Title: Howdy from the Lone Star State
Post by: Adrian26 on April 03, 2025, 08:40:11 AM
Well hey y'all I'm glad to be a new member of the Susan's Place family. I'm Adrian, an 18 yo FtM from the Panhandle of Texas. I enjoy anything southern, except the bigotry. I'm currently pre-everything in terms of gender affirming care, but I do hope to obtain some ways on how to better feel like my true gender and hopefully make some new friends on this exciting journey. Have a wonderful day y'all!

Home of arguably the best meat-master chefs in the world. Welcome to the site, Adrian. The religion you folks have for meat and the proper preparation of said animal products... yeah... I could easily live in Texas. Quite happily.

Good to have you here! <3

<-- resident half vampire/half zombie/ total carnivore. :P

Hill Country is beautiful, but y'all should come to Amarillo during September for the rodeo. It's a family tradition for me and it's definitely something worth putting on your bucket list!

Good day and welcome to Susan's! Whichever way we're travelling the railway network of trans, we share the same challenges and the same rewards when we get things right. So enjoy being here.

I am, don't worry about that. It's amazing having a community that has gone through or going through similar things to myself. It's freeing in a place that makes me feel like I have to hide who I am.

We usually get a few briskets a year flown in from Texas! Usually Terry Blacks or Franklin's! When we are there we also love The Salt Lick, The Iron Works in Austin and Smitty's out in Lockhart! 💕🤗💕 After we OD and can't do any more BBQ we have some fine TexMex, maybe a relaxing float on the Comal River in New Braunfels and take in a show at Gruene Hall, The Paramount or The Continental Club... We saw Jerry Jeff Walker RIP many times... I really love Ray Wylie Hubbard!... Putting Amarillo on the list!!!  😀👍

Ha... We had a big delay at the airport once flying into San Antonio... we stayed at the Hyatt there across from The Alamo and after the long day of flying we hit the river walk to find some food... everything was decked out in Christmas lights for the holidays but, deserted and closed because it was like 1 or 2 in the morning... then we came across the only place open... a 24 hour TexMex place... it was so good after the long day and we might of had a couple Margaritas to seal the deal as well 😀👍

I drink my morning coffee in a Buc-ees cup lol 😅👍

Onward!
