What are you favorite flowers?
Pink roses
There's no way I could choose a favorite. I've got several bearded irises blooming now, so they're my favorites for the moment.

Okay. There are a lot of nice flowers.
Peonies. Long stemmed cut flowers (gladiolus, chrysanthemums, delphinium). Lilacs for scent (and they're just beginning to bloom in my neck of the woods). I've never met an ugly flower.

I agree, though there are some pretty odd-looking flowers. And green flowers to me seem somehow... unfinished.
I like some blooms on trees.
Epiphyllum oxypetalum. Also known as the Queen of the night cactus.

It only blooms at night. So beautiful.
I bought my house back in May 1988. This same rose plant has been here since then. I prune it maybe two or three times a year. I don't water or anything. But it continues to grow these beautiful pink roses. It is one single plant. I Just took this picture a few minutes ago. It's been 37 years and it is still going strong. My favorite 🌸. I will miss her when I move.

Beautiful, Anna. Is there no way you can take her with you?

Thank you, We'll see.

If you can, you should, Anna. She is beautiful, like you. Now I'm forever going to associate you with a gorgeous pink rose. :)
I like azaleas.
I like roses and tulips.

Aren't we all, Pema? I (assume) you've returned home, and all the tender seedlings greeted you with open arms (or leaves). Spring. There's no other season that shouts 'hope' quite as insistently.

Indeed we all are, Annika.
No, we're solidly planted far from home at the moment, but we get our moments of peace in our rental, so I drop in here for moral support when I can. It helps immensely.
