Hello everyone!
I am trying to decide if I am in the right place.
I'll just jump right in. I started having a fascination with pantyhose at early age. Started with just looking at pictures of women in pantyhose and then later wearing them. At some point, I started to wear dresses with them and found that I really enjoyed it. I then stopped when I almost got caught. After college and several years of marriage, I found myself in Target in front of a tights display. I saw a blue color that I loved and I could not resist purchasing it. I then fell back into wearing tights and my wife's dresses when nobody was home. I was eventually caught by my wife and she was none too thrilled. I continue to wear tights when I can and a dress that my wife no longer cares about. I started wearing a wig with it as well. I consider myself to still be a cisgender heterosexual male, but dressing up every now and then just relaxes me.
I hope to find others in a similar place with whom I can connect.

If you're not in the right place, few of us are. Welcome.
Thank you everyone for the kind welcome.
I had at one point used the name "Sloan" to refer to my feminine side, so I'll use that name for now.

Welcome, Sloan!! Sorry to take a bit to welcome you but my wife and I are on a trip to Sicily and i haven't had much time to check in. This is definitely the right place for you. Each of us is at a different spot on this vast spectrum of our identities. While we are each unique, we also have many similarities. You'll find many of us who started similarly to you and, while some of us have moved to transition, many have remained somewhere short of that. The most important thing is to find what makes you happy and fulfilled.
Welcome!
Chrissy
Hi Sloan and welcome, you'll find we're a diverse bunch, welcoming and compassionate too!
Welcome to Susan's,
You will find many of us share similar pasts. For me it was more about breasts and bra's. Dressing up and fantasying helped for a while until I felt the need to fully transition. Everyone is different and some find the need to fully transition is needed others can cope with less. We are here for you.
Thank you. I was hesitant about joining since for me it is (at least from what I know about myself right now) about the dressing up and not so much about any further transition. I find that many crossdressing sites seem to be more about transition support than just dressing up (which I guess could be considered a fetish), however I have been told by my wife that I also do take on a more feminine (or at least different) sensibility with tone and touch and that I do have a different type of confidence and joy. So 🤷🏼♂️.

Hi, Sloan.
All are welcome here. Even though the site's major focus is on support for those transitioning, we also recognize that many of our members started out just cross-dressing. So you may be in the very early stages of discovering that for yourself. We are in no hurry. Some members take years to transition and some decide, for whatever reason, that they will not progress any further. Those are personal decisions.
For those who are not interested in transitioning, but do enjoy cross-dressing, we have a Cross Dressing (https://www.susans.org/index.php/board,23.0.html) forum. We also have a space for Kings and Queens who are into drag. We don't judge. It is important to provide a safe space where everyone can be themselves openly.

Well hi Sloan, I'm Adrian. You're definitely in the right place to have your thoughts and feelings heard and to have open discussions on them. All of us have been through enough to have many different points of view and maybe be able to help you understand what it is that you're going through
