Why are some things that make you happy?
Chrissy
One is my family in my life still that love and accept me in to this day. A very loving husband and his family as well.
Thank you for sharing out. You have a good situation.
It has and includes my good friends that say I am the same person but much happier in life
Being loved by a man. Touched and kissed.
Swimming, water. Or water in the air.
Fluffy clouds.
Endless amounts of trees with no civilization in view.
But nothing is quite like the touch of a man. :P
Going out to the barn, folding off a cover and 70 year old engine comes to life. Carefully backing out and then an hour or two on the country back roads.
Judicious use of my curling iron, getting my less-is-more makeup just right, and hearing, "Good morning Ma,am!" passing through my company's security checkpoint.
A beautiful spring morning, early. Sitting on my cozy back deck porch swing with my favorite coffee. Sunlight angling in just so. Roses in full bloom. Little birds visiting feeders mere feet away. Pussycat, relaxing beside me. A beautiful spring morning, early. Sitting on my cozy back deck porch swing with my favorite coffee. Sunlight angling in just so. Roses in full bloom. This one has the image.
"Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things"
;D

You deserve it, Anna. <3
I should be happy, I think.
I noticed some of my pants fitting tighter. I have not put on weight. These are female clothes. Did I accidentally wash them in too hot of water? Are my thighs and rear rounding out a tad?
Also just under my lowest rib area it seems like I lost some width.
I will see if this is a temporary thing. Maybe I am retaining more water? But then I should be heavier?

shrinkage is a good think, 😉
Some shrinkage near waist, some expansion below.
Have a nice weekend everyone!

Lots of good discussion here.
So,
What are some things that make you happy? Why is that?
I watched a Robin trying to eat part of an apple that was in our parking lot.
I taunted him, saying, "I bet you wish you had hands and teeth." He gave up and flew away, but pooped on my Jeep as he was leaving.
I am going to meet a friend for lunch.
I hope your day goes well.
Remember those that died to help keep your freedom.
Then there are many who have had serious injuries.
Consider donating your time and funds to military help groups.
One would be the FISHER HOUSE FOUNDATION. It has been around for 30+ years and they now have 99 homes not far from Dept. of Defense hospitals around the USA. Another will open next year. They help wondered warriors and their families with travel and lodging so they can be together when the soldiers get medical care. Soldiers make great sacrifices. Some, those who we honor today, made the ultimate sacrifice.
Another way may be to donate some of your airline miles or hotel points to charities that help those in need.
Separately, maybe spend some time at a soup kitchen to serve food.
There is a lot that could be done. Mow the grass at your church.
Serve at a transgender group event tent.
Help make someone feel better today.
Hugs,
Chrissy

I had to look that up. Thank you for the new tune! Dystopia. Rush.
In my case Tri-five Chevy. Straight six, column shift, manual steering, factory overdrive.
Things that make me happy...
Waking up in the middle of the night and feeling my child asleep in the bed next to me. They're splayed out, looking awkward and laying in the most uncomfortable pose imaginable and I can't help but smile so hard I think I'll cry listening to them just breath softly.
Sitting around a fire, grilling steaks and taters while the sun sets and enjoying a brisk spring or autumn night. Maybe have a cold hard cider and a good (small) cigar or a pipe and talk about all the things we wish we had the money to do.
Waking up when camping before everyone else is awake and making a pot of good coffee. Feeling the dew on the grass and hearing the whole world stir to life.
Being next to a window during a summer rain storm. The smell, the feel of the wet wind, the lightning lighting up the sky.
Getting a new piece of clothing or jewelry in the mail and rushing to try it on and finding out it fits just perfectly.
Walking along at work (I'm currently third shift and mostly outdoors) and just getting slapped in the face by a brilliant moon lighting up the sky like she's putting on a show just for me.
Having my kid stop me and just say "Look!" and point out a sunset or the stars without warning, just like I did for them when they were little.
That's some of the stuff for me anyway. I'm noticing a trend with nature here. :)

All of your happiness echoes in my existence. But this one is mundane and a simple pleasure. No philosophy needed :)
