I turn 65 in October. This is for all the MTF girls on this board who live in Canada. Where do you buy your clothes? As I would like to dress my age but not be dowdy.
I have five children, two boys and three girls, all of whom are adults.
My question is this: What do you have them call you, still dad? That would raise eyebrows in a social situation.
My wife just asked the kids what they wanted to call her now. No need to "have them" do anything. :)
They went with dad (at ages 6 & 4) and still do (at 13 & 11).
Hugs, Devlyn
I've never had kids, so I can't say.
As for clothes, I've mostly shopped at Penningtons because they have plus size clothing. But I've also shopped at Walmart and Amazon.

Let the kids (now adults) relate to you how they feel .. it's ok to be a dad/mom. :)
As far as clothes go, Amazon has been great with awesome affordable clothes. My sense is I don't want to be "Aunt Bee" so dress smart and classy, perhaps even a little sexy at times. Best wishes!
Only one of my children still talks to me. She calls me 'Mary' as she says I'm not her mother. She has introduced me to a friend as her mother though.
I've done most of my clothes shopping in charity shops. I can look through a collection of skirts or dresses of a wide variety of styles and perhaps something appeals to me. Another advantage is that a disaster will only cost me a few pounds, not several tens of pounds.
