Title: My dad passed away this morning

My dad passed away this morning, it was from his heart issues including Alzheimer's. One of the worker's from Hospice notice he was not doing well having issues and did have a do not resuscitate. A few minutes later, he passed. Mom was called first and came down and then called my brothers and I that dad was dead. My husband and I were supposed to do something in the morning and then this came up. My husband hugged me and has been there for me. I know dad is not suffering no longer in pain. Already have his funeral plans set, he had this done 4 years ago already paid for to make it easier on us. All we have to do is set the date. Mom, she is adjusting to the changes slowly that he is gone and knows we will be there to help her. Will be at the funeral home tomorrow setting the date for the funeral

I'm so sorry, Nikki. It's painful even when it's expected. I'm glad you and your mom have good support. I wish peace for all of you.

Mom knows she has help from us and has kept his favorite flannel shirt for memory reasons.

Sorry to hear that Nikki.

My wife wrote her obituary and put it on a flash drive.

One is when he met his new daughter for the first time. Called me Nikki and we hugged

My friend Lisa from Ireland is coming, emailed her and flying out tonight. Knew my dad as well and being there for me at this time,said he was a nice man
