As a MTF or a crossdresser, how was your first time store buying female clothes?
That is, buying in person at a store?
Was it at a thrift shop or resale or consignment store?

Shopping with another female can be less intimidating and helpful if you have not yet tried buying your gender affirming clothes in person.
Online shopping with easy returns has made shopping in person less needed. However, it is fun to find some bargains in person, for sure.
The first time I did it, I was so scared. I was in college. Now, I do buy online, pickup in store, it eliminates the awkwardness. I used to get up early on Sunday's and go buy what I wanted when the stores were empty. I don't get nervous now going into stores to buy my girly stuff. Going into Victoria secret, or Ulta is just another trip,

One of the things I love about Amazon is that it has learned my size, so I can look at clothing on Amazon, and it will say what size I need. It's neat if I see something I want in a store, and Amazon sells it, I can get a good idea of what size I need.
