Title: Visit to my Endo
Post by: stephanie_craxford on March 20, 2006, 08:04:43 PM
I had an appointment with my endo on Monday and I must say it and the blood work results were very good.  Everything is going well and she has recommended some adjustments to my HRT to my Doctor.

My bioavailable testosterone is down to 0.35 which is great as a normal female level of bioavailable testosterone is between 0.18 and 0.25 only a little ways to go :)  she also added that getting it down to this level will avoid the unwanted depressive effects on the libido.

On a side note she started out her written report to my doctor by stating "This pleasant 54-year-old"  Ah ha I shouted out to Gillian, I don't care what you say but see it's officially been stated by medical professionals that I am a pleasant 54-year-old :)  I think I'll get it framed.

Don't get too excited, Steph. Doctors have their own weird language. For one case, I was reading a doctors reports and saw the phrase "unremarkable breasts". I thought she had a rather nice rack myself  >:D

Hey, hey!  That's male locker room talk!!!

You're a quick study, aren't you?

(I often like to think that I'm trading myself to the other team and bringing the playbook with me... )
