I've heard various people report on testicle shrinkage under the effects of HRT.
Does anybody have any results to report?
Any rule of thumb timelines? Any thoughts?
Sorry Renate, no timeline. They went from plums to raisins and I never missed them.

Now this is a very interesting poll and set of queries.
Renate, you've heard the old adage "your mileage may vary?" I think HRT results fall in the category of "things that adage could be true for."
Although if you really wanna 'shrink' them a lot, there are doctors who perform orchiectomies. After that they shrink a great deal.

When I had been on HRT for about eight month, my blood tests showed that the testosterone in my system was immeasurable. Also by then they had shrunk to "raisin" size.
That's when I opted for my ochiectomy. After that point I could reduce the amount of spiro that I took as well.
The surgeon who performed the procedure also removed additional tissue and cordage in anticipation of an eventual GRS. There is much less to "get in the way" now.

The other thing you might consider, renate, is that the older one gets with testicles the less T they produce anyways. Although different bodies go through menopause at different times generally speaking the older one is the less T they are gonna produce to free-float.
You might want to discuss your anti-androgen regimen with your endo. Given your current output your dose might be low for you.
An idea anyhow.

After 5 months 11 days of hrt lost little more than third in size.
I hope this helps,
Anna

yes ochiectomy will shink them fast . which iam looking at doing but the only thing to this all it seams
there at not many doctors who preform the ochiectomy right now at this time. and the ones that do
which i have only found 2of them that do the ochiectomy are doctor bowers and um doctor reed i belive
to be the other one. and that being the case . i just got to wait to get things set up to go to doctor
bowers. which is trip and hotel and such . but i belive it is worth it to get that nasty testosterone out of
my body
Actually Dr. Kimmel in Philly does the procedure regularly, Deb. And I believe I have read of others who do as well. You might want to talk to urologists in your area.
