Welcome to the New Mardi Gras!
New Mardi Gras is the organisation that runs the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras as well as Sleaze Ball and a number of other events throughout the year.

Our general objective is to raise the visibility of the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer communities. We do that in many ways but the most notable of these is the Mardi Gras Parade. It's an event with an interesting history so we encourage you to take a look at our history section.

I'm leaving soon for Sydney.  I'm hoping to have lots of fun, I'm a little bit nervous too for some reason!  I hope to make a few friends, maybe some overseas visitors hopefully as well!!

See ya all and I will take some pics with my crap phone, might be one or two good ones!!!

I wish I could go this year, but I have to work all weekend, definitely not happy about that.

Hope you have fun buttercup :).
