WASHINGTON, Feb 27, 2008 /PRNewswire-USNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Donation to Support Movement for Repeal of 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell'

The estate of the late Richard 'Ric' W. Weiland, announced on Monday the creation of a $46-million endowment to be managed by the Seattle-based Pride Foundation. The money, which aims to support charities and organizations within the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community, includes an $800,000 bequest to Servicemembers Legal Defense Network (SLDN).
