For instance, in March the 100th Monkey is holding Creative Art Therapies Week, with workshops such as musical and art therapy for transgender clients, in addition to the studio's regular classes on paper making, jewelry design and book binding. Leising and Short also host after-school and summer art programs for children and provide art therapy for children with diabetes, all based on the notion that "being able to express yourself is good for people," says Short.
