i know the title sounds a little ridiculous because i really don't fit the daddy role anymore, but yeah anyways, i'm going to be let's say a parent again. that's correct Mickie's wife is preggers with at least one for now, she goes to the doc next month to get an ultrasound and found out how many are actually in there. it'll be awhile before i really know the sex of the child(ren) but i am hoping for my girl(s), as you all know i am privy to them. i am leaning towards Paloma as a name but she doesn't like it cuz my son's name is Parker and that she thinks is just too many P's for her...lol. so i may have to choose another name but i hope not. i will keep you all updated on her progress...
Mickie
Congratulations!! On the additions to your family. Hope you get the sex of your baby(ies) you want. I'm sure you are gonna love them however that turns out. So you think it could be twins?
Take care,
Anna
Congratulations!
My youngest is 16 and my oldest will be 19 in April. So, I'm at the other end. My daddy years could be coming to an end soon.
thank you and yes, Anna, twins run in my side of the family and with the meds she was on the doctor said they could come in multiples, and yes i will love them no matter what. and Shades, your Daddy years are never over, i'm still young but i know i will always be my children's father, no surgery will ever change that, nor do i want it to.

True, I'll always be my kids' father. What I meant to imply was that the "empty nest" is on the horizon.
Congratulations Mickie!
Oh, i see Shades, yeah, i'm not ready for those empty nest days either, even though they are still further away and inching ever closer, but who really is ready for them...lol
thanks, Lady,
Mickie

I hope this doesn't mark me as a lousy dad, but I'm kind of looking forward to the empty nest. Don't get me wrong: I have no regrets about being a father, or when I started (age 19). I regret some of my parenting decisions, but it's easy to look back and say decisions X, Y, and Z were wrong.
Parenting, of one form or another, is something one does for life, I believe. It's just that I'm looking forward to the time when it's just me and my wife at home.
well i sure can second that!!!! LOL
