Earlier tonight I answered the phone (Hello?) and this teenage girl (I could tell from her voice) answers back: "mom?" :D :D I just told her that she had the wrong number and when I hung up the phone I died of laughter. I have been called maam many times but never called mom. LOL
;D

you should have went along with it >:D
LOL yeah, I should have done that, but I would have felt bad screwing with someone like that.
^ was you voice always like that? did you do any training or did hormones change it a little?
Wow. I just get mistaken for my 19-year-old son. I guess I sound younger than I am.
Or, he sounds older than he is.

I just practiced a lot is all. I seriously doubt that hormones had anything to do with it since I have only been on them since october of 07. All I did was practice, practice, practice. Getting a digital voice recorder also helped a LOT! (thanks to my friend Christi for hooking me up with the recorder, you rule!!). One thing that helped was I always had a higher voice than most "boys" when I was younger (I got called '->-bleeped-<-' a lot because of that though) so I ended up forcing myself to speak in a lower register to satisfy other people. It took a long time to undo the damage from speaking in that lower register, but after a LOT of practice I finally got to where I needed to be. The only thing that screws me up now is the winter colds, BUT its not that bad, just an annoyance.
