Title: How to have perfectly shaped brows
Post by: LostInTime on May 05, 2006, 08:18:36 AM
From Sephora's site.  link (http://www.sephora.com/email/20060502_tips_email.html;jsessionid=OU5K5HYFI5ZWTLAUCLABXCQ?cm_mmc=email%20ret-_-tips%2020060502-_-tips-_-landing&_requestid=17242)

Unfortunately for me the lack of body hair also means pretty thin brows and they disappear right before where it is recommended (number 3).

Maybe someday I'll figure out who to ask for help with this.  Hair salon?  Beautician???
Meanwhile, I just use an eyebrow pencil to cover the grey each morning.  Otherwise, I yam what I yam.

My stylist has offered to do my brows when I go full time.  It sounds like a great place to start.

One of the wisest investments I made was paying the girl at the nail salon $7 to do my eyebrows.  I only needed the hot wax once (well for this anyway, <G>) and just have been maintaining it ever since.  Although I never had thick or bushy eyebrows, the very slight change made quite a difference.

My eyebrows seem to be in a good place on my face.  I plucked them back in October and have been maintaining them since.  I had come out with a nice shape, but have let it thicken up a bit and it seems to strike a good balance where I can pass as both male and female.

Like Reiki I suffer from thinning brows.  To help compensate I too fill with a pencil.  Also when I go for my regular full leg an bikini, I get her to touch up the brows and tint them.  I find that the tinting really helps and it is fairly inexpensive.  She uses a vegetable based tint and it usually lasts between 6 to 8 weeks.

You ever see these East Indian women with brows, that, you know, No WAY!
that is what I'm up against, and possibly worse.
I am nothing if not persistent though...
