Title: Doctor Saran Wannachamras, SRS
Post by: roza on March 14, 2008, 12:17:38 AM
I'm sorry has anyone seen Doctor Saran Wannachamras in Thailand? I'm freaking out..... I don't know anybody who's been to thailand for surgery. To my understanding he worked under preecha and has a good reputation... I just found this website, i wish i would have found it weeks ago before i booked with him. Anything good or bad would be appreciated. I'm leaving in five days to see him and all i can do is put faith in the good things i've heard. I don't really like his pictures as much as Dr. Suporn's but I don't know what to trust pictures or secondhand recommendations.

Thanks

Roza

If he has worked with Dr. Preecha for years, he is worth a try.
You just have to remember, whoever you have surgery with, you are likely to go back to them if you need any revisions. Even thai surgeons do not like tempering with another surgeons work.

I'm familiar with his work, and can say I would recommend him.

Not necessarily. Having just had a cosmetic revision I think the surgeons sometimes get a bit of a kick out of being asked to sort out or improve someone elses work.

Ok I admit it was a bit different for me because the gap was so long between the two and my original surgeon had long since retired - but even so from what I have heard it's not that unusual to see a different surgeon if you decide to go back for a minor revision.

I wouldn't worry - in my experience every surgeon has somethings they do brilliantly well and other things that they aren't so good with.

For example my original was a genius at getting depth - I have 7 inches - and I was far from well endowed as a male. But he was not so good with the external appearance. Hence another doctor who is known for making very pretty pussys did my revision. - and it would always have been that way even if the original doctor had still been working.

In short it's an imperfect world, and as long as the dctor has been trained by someone like Preecha he will have his particular benefits!

If you don't mind me asking, how is your recovery going?

Sorry if you've posted it on another thread. I've been looking out but not caught it.

Dr. Thiti Chaovanalikit is a good alternative to Dr. Suporn, he used to work under PAI and he is currently working through Thai TS Clinic, he uses the same 'non penile inversion' technique as Dr. Suporn if you see him as your surgeon through Thai TS Clinic, however if you go to PAI to see him, the consultation will be very brief and he will have to perform the old technique, its a PAI policy. I have seen his SRS results (not on the internet), they look really impressive. If I could turn back time, I'd have had him to do my SRS, he also does free revisions while u r over there if u r not happy with any aspect of ur SRS and u get a monthly SRS package. He is well known among locals and in Asia, westerners only hear about certain 'brand' names like Suporn, Chettawutt, Preecha...It's good to be in touch with people who live there and follow up on who is currently a good or popular surgeon with consistent results. While I was over there for some cosmetic work, Dr. Pichet castrated a patient instead of giving her a full SRS so Dr. Thiti did charity surgery on that girl because it was emergency situation and it was the hospital's policy. So Thailand is a bit of a risky business, but Dr. Suporn is good if you can afford him. Good luck with your search.

careful..i've heard frightening things about wannachamras & that other "surgeon" in miami, florida.  the reason they're so cheap is that they send you to some motel to bleed to death immediately after grs so you don't have to pay for hospital expenses.

stay at home & choose someone competent but if you must go to thailand, choose suporn.

that's not entirely true about Saran.  Patients have the option of staying in a hotel or the service apartment of Piyavate at 6-7 days post op.

Hi Jade ,
thanks for your message . Eventually I went for Dr Thiti and I am very happy with the results . He is really a very skilled surgeon and a really caring and special human being. I had breast augmentation and SRS with him and both results look amazing . I also had buttocks' augmentation with him but unfortunately I had to have the implants removed due to an infection . Nevertheless also in this case Dr Thiti took full care of me assuring I would be safe and fully restablished  before I left . He also offered to perform the surgery again at no charge. So I will definetely fly back to Thailand for my buttocks as soon as I can.
I would also like to recommend Jaruwan (http://www.thaisurgeons.com/Gender.html (http://www.thaisurgeons.com/Gender.html)) who with her services was the perfect chaperon during my stay . Actually it was she who put me in touch with Dr Thiti and organized my stay in the most pleasant and safe way.
She also can advise about the best surgeon in one 's case because she has lots of insider  know how   about  thai surgeons.  It s really a  pity we only know  few famous thai surgeons  who specialized with westerners and probably for this reason have been putting their fees very high.

I would be happy to share my experience with you and other girls.
Sincerely,
Rose
