I don't know about the rest of you, but I find shopping for clothes and shoes a frustrating, disheartening exercise in futility. Which is extra painful because I should be loving it! (I mean, I love every other kind of shopping!)
The problem is a question of size.
And yeah, there are places like Evans and Long Tall Sally, but their ranges generally suck... not exactly the height of urban/contemporary fashion. And try to find a nice gothish platform boot in size 9 or 10 (UK folks, that's about 13 US)
So I've been trawling the net for specialist suppliers, and happened across this gem of a site, which I thought I'd share:

Sooooo, anybody else know other sites and/or real-world shops that cater for the taller, bigger lady?
I know it is hard to find clothes that fit just right, but you have to use your imagination a little more and you can have fun. Shoes are the hardest to find and to find them in stores is a rarity. I don't like to buy shoes from magazines or online catalogues as you can't put them on to see how they look. Sometimes it better to go have a few shoes specially made and to keep them in good shape rather than finding cheap ones that don't fit so well.

Here some 13 boots.

Not exactly day-wear, but for a night out to Inferno or Slimelight ... hmmmm.
Shoes are rarely a problem for me but bras, d***! Just try to find a 44 nearly a B. I have to modify a 38, extend the band, lengthen and move the straps in. Makes a girl want to go braless.

Yeah, I can see how bras are going to be a real problem for me as well. I'm just starting to develop, and I'll soon need to start supporting, and so far the high street stores do not inspire much confidence.
