I got my new ID card yesterday and I HATE HATE HATE my photo. It looks so male....ugh. Hopefully, this will change over time. I do get ma'amed a lot but this photo is just hideous. *puts a bag over her head*
Well hon, if it is any consolation, (which I know it isn't, but anyway...) EVERYBODY looks horrible on ID and Passport photos.
By turns I've looked like a mugger, a serial arsonist, and that one time, an alien invader from the planet Mzxcvliudf (Don't know how, but the photo was slightly green-shifted)
But don't worry too much about it - your looks will keep softening, and one day you'll see who you're supposed to see! Even if she does look like a serial arsonist! ;)
So sorry about that. You could always accidentally lose it and get it remade. ??

give it time. My drivers license photo on my old ID is hideous but I really like my new one.

In Minnesota they just use the stored picture from the old one.

Well, I plan on going fulltime later this year so I will have a new ID anyways. This was just a renewal of my current ID. I just hate how the picture looks is all.
ID pic,s always seam to look bad for some reason . ::) i think the dmv forget,s most of the time to clean
the camra len,s for the most part. mine look,s yucky ::)
I don't know how the DMV works in your state, Laura, but you can always call and tell them you never received it! ;) That way you can make yourself up to look absolutely stunning before a new photo is taken. Here in Utopia, they will take a new picture everytime they issue you an ID or a driver's license. (duplicate or otherwise)

:D That won't work, Tink. They make the ID right there and then they hand it to you. So that would not work.

"Ahhhh!!" Jeeterwitikers for once out of all the photos I had on my drivers licence in the past, this latest one I had my long hair loos on my shoulders and I looked twenty years younger. I think I'm going to get that one framed.

Laura....the time to really worry about the pic is when you get the F gender marker with it. I did just that 6 months ago, and since that pic of me looked like a maleish stranger, I got a new one. Yup....seems the poor old driver's license got mangled. Too mangled to use. How, you might ask? I dunno, but I blamed it on my grandson. So I got a new one, right away. Before I did, I made sure I looked okay. Never purposely mangle an ID....it's either a state, federal, or global offense, but carrying a mangled ID is no good either. I think it was thirty bucks. Best thirty bucks I've spent in a very long time ;)
