okay, so has anyone experienced thier skin on thier face shedding while on HRT? if so when does it stop, or at least when did it stop for you and is there anyway to do something about it so it doesnt look as bad?
if someone could give m an anser about these questions id realy appreciate it. :D
Spiro and estrogen can dry the skin. Use a moisturizer and drink plenty of water.
As stated spiro and estrogen dry the skin. My issue was really itchy legs and very dry arms and hands.
Other then using a moisterizing, it may be a good idea to look into micronized progesterone. Progesterone provides an oil to the skin that can reduce some of the dryness.
I've noticed I have a much much drier face than before HRT. I just use lots of lotion.
I take micronized.
It helps a lot.
There is a lot of research that shows micronized progesterone helps
balance out estrogen.
It is especially helpful for teeth, hair, nails, skin, and bones.
It also helps with boob growth.
I only take it about once a month for a week.

I have been experiencing the same - legs, abdomen, and face. The face is a lot more sensitive too. I was planning on talking to my endo about it next time I see him. I have been on HRT for 9 months now and its been happening mostly the past month or two maybe....

I have not experienced this, but then again I have only been on HRT 5 and a half months and I drink a lot of water.
I'm having a lot of flaking and lines from extreme dry skin. It also my lips, feet, and hands are all dry out. It is very similar to what I experienced as a teenage with accutane. I'm on a out dated progesterone also. I always forgot to bring a moisturizer and lip balm with me they usually help a lot. Thats my experience at 6 months and half of hrt.
