Republican presidential nominee John McCain is "proud" and "honored" to have received the endorsement of Reverend John Hagee who claimed that Hurricane Katrina was God's judgement against homosexuality.
This quote ought to get a lot of votes for McCain.
Do you know the difference between a woman with PMS and a snarling Doberman pinscher? The answer is lipstick. Do you know the difference between a terrorist and a woman with PMS? You can negotiate with a terrorist. The guy is a laff riot, he's missing his calling as a standup.
And really: And the promise of that parade was that it was going to reach a level of sexuality never demonstrated before in any of the other Gay Pride parades. In New Orleans? Home of the Marti Gras? You got to kind of doubt that.
And this surprises who? Certainly not me.

More than you might think. Like the woman delegate to the Republican National Convention that nominated President Bush for his second term: "Laura Bush is a real lady. She knows her place."

Aaaaaw, cuuuuuuute!!! How wonderfully, quaintly misogynistic. Warms the heart, it does.

Makes you wonder if this delegate asked her husband how she was supposed to vote.

No, she would never ask... she would wait to be told. Sadly, this is how it works.

I know you jest about him getting votes, but until you have spent time around San Antonio, you could never imagine how influential Hagee actually is. He really will deliver a lot of votes, though you have to wonder if anyone who listens to him would ever vote Democratic. My favorite thing about Hagee was watching his sermon about weight loss, when he is about 200 lb overweight.
