Title: Makeup Tricks (Pics)
Post by: _Kris_ on March 26, 2008, 02:14:55 PM
I experimented with some makeup to see how I might look while on T, and I thought that it masculinized my face very much. What do you think? My eyebrows are already starting to grow in very thick, so I just darkened the skin along the hairline above my eyes to give the effect of thicker brows. I won't have to do that soon. But I also added a blended-in five o' clock shadow.

With a little more work and muscle, could I pass??

Awesome, I think in these pictures you do pass.

I don't know how it looks in person but I think these pictures
hide all your feminine features. You do look young but not feminine
to me. Hair looks better like that too. Almost looks like your hairline is
receding a little LOL.

Yep, all in all, I'd  say you look great.

The amazing power of good makeup :)

Thanks! And I love your new picture!

In person, the makeup doesn't look as good as the camera shows, but I knew that that would be the case. I was just trying to find a way to see how I might look on T. However, I was happier with the results than I thought I would be. I'll just have to buy brown powder makeup that doesn't shine/sparkle. ::) I was working with what I had. ;)

Thank you Kris!

I thought the makeup might look different in person, but it really looks good
in pictures. You should make one of those your avatar.

Thanks, I'll try to figure out how to do that. ^_^

EDIT: I can't figure it out... How do I change my avatar?

Passing is more about presentation than photos, its the walk, how you sit, how you hold yourself, the way you hold a beer, the language you use and how you use it - all of that is hard to judge by just a photo.

Nice work with the makeup. I've tried to do similar but my results weren't as good as your's. But the pics do give me some ideas.

Looks great man, and it gives you a good idea of how you'll look after some time on T. Your hair definitely looks better there too.

You look awesome! Ever thought about a career as makeup artist? Bet you could do real wild looks for print and such.

Thanks, everybody. :)

I agree, though I was only asking about looks for now. I can't actually go out anywhere in public looking like this just yet since I don't have the right clothes, nothing to bind my breasts, haven't come out to anybody yet, etc. This was just a fun experiment. :P But it's nice to know that I can at least look it. I'm not worried about anything else; I act, move, and talk like a guy, anyway, IMO. I always have. Of course, I can't prove that to you, but I'm not trying to. LoL.

I'm an artist in that I can draw on paper, paint, and sculpt things. I've never really considered working with people (I'm not too huge of a people-person), but I appreciate the compliment, anyway. ^-^
