Title: What Did You Do For Holy Week/Easter?
Post by: Ms Jessica on March 26, 2008, 02:22:57 PM
Just curious.  What did people do?
Since I'm asking, I'll go first-- my wife and I went to mass for Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter.  Got to see my folks for a bit on Easter and then went and spent some time with my wife's family.

I built a telescope.

There is nothing so inspiring as a session observing the wonders in the sky.

My wife, a UCC ordination candidate, helped with services on Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday. I went to the Easter one.

St. Mike's used their traditional choir, which excluded me.  A little disappointing, but it was nice to be part of the congregation.

Holy Thursday mass and prayer afterwards.

Good Friday celebration

For Easter Vigil, I was back at St. Andrew's and part of the choir!  This girl loves the Vigil!  It is the reason we are Christians.

Dinner with my loved ones (family, boyfriend, a couple of close friends).  It was nice!  I wanted to go and hunt for Easter eggs, but that didn't happen.  :P
