Title: Apparently we are pawns of the left in their war on Christianity.
Post by: lady amarant on April 03, 2008, 02:24:26 PM
As usual, I got a bit too into one of the news stories on here, and got into a massive debate. I had to share this little gem of a response. I don't know whether to laugh, cry or fly into a blind rage about it. Breathe girl, just breathe...

QuoteSimone, I wissh you peace, God's Peace. But you should realize that transgendered people are the latest to be "used" by the left wing . It is hard for me because I know that it is an industry that means big money for the doctors and hospitals. Do you think they care about you, They would do surgery on anything or anyone for a price. It is hard to see people that are already fragile to be exploited in this way. You are just pawns to get at us, to bring down the Church....the Country...anything good or beautiful from God. Do not listen to the king of lies.

~Simone,
       ... Bemused, I suppose ...

LOL!  What a crock!  Notice the logic.  "King of lies" is a euphamism for Satan.  This person is equating social liberals with Satan.  Notice further that the United States is labeled as "good and beautiful from God."  This is truly a sick person.

Yes, that is often the stance of TV preachers (no pun intended) who equate America with the promised land, conservative politics with biblical doctrine, and anyone who is born with a condition they don't understand as one who is deluded by Satan.   Funny, I read about a much different God in my Bible.  If only things were that black and white, this world would be simple to figure out.  But we live on a much different planet.  The only small grain of truth in what he says may be that some are out to just get money from us.  Well, so what's new about that?  It's called commerce.  We Americans certainly did not invent it.  In fact, we are proving we are not very savvy about it.   However, how dare he judge everyone's motives like that!  In the last couple of years I have met some truly wonderful, caring people who really desire to help.  And they often do it for little or no money.  Certainly no glory or fame.   Doesn't he know how difficult it still is to get GRS in America.  It's certainly better than it once was, but nobody can just do it for the right price.

I better stop now.
