Susan's Place Transgender Resources

Hey Everyone,

I am relatively new to this site... I have been on a few times and done some chatting,
and everyone was really nice. I stumbled upon this website while Googling transgender
resources on the web as I was looking for some people who are in the same situation
as myself.

My situation is that I don't know any other trans people, and I have repressed my desire
to be feminine for as long as I can remember and that has led me to feeling really bad
about myself. With the help of my therapist I am trying to learn how to accept me
for who I am and allow myself to express how I feel on the inside more on the outside.

I feel that this is going to be a long and slow process, but it feels good just to be
accepting it and getting started in the right direction for the first time in my life.

I am hoping to make some friends here online and feel more connected to the world. It is
really helpful to talk to other people in similar situations and realize that you are not
the only person that feels their body doesn't match their inner being...
