Painting!
I helped my mom paint her bedroom today (huge room) with rollers and brushes.
OH my gosh, I am so incredibly sore already. I bet tomorrow will be hell, but man, if I painted a room every day I'd be cut.
I painted a room every day I'd be cut.
More from carrying the equipment (paint in particular is very heavy) and setting it up and tearing it down then from the painting per se. The painting is easy, its the prep work that is hard.
One way to get fit is by reading Body For Life by Bill Phillips www.bodyforlife.com. I'm thinking of starting this soon.

by just reading? lol That'll take some will power lol
hehe, I have that book somewhere. Maybe I should of carried it around longer to loose my tummy.
I have been working out in the gym and it's working, but I think I am just at that age where everything is super stubborn. I am thankful I play hockey 2-3x a week because that really is the best workout I can ask for (especially since I am a goalie and I can break a sweat streching with all that equipment on).
I have been talking to some goalies who were doing the P90x workouts. They sware by it, so I ordered it. Apperently it has helped their game a lot as well as help kick start them into shape. Want to try it and then go back to the routine I am on now since it's a 90 day program. I don't look forward to the many push ups in many positions...
yard work is good too :)
Painting is a pretty good workout, think of it as tia chi for the artist.
Upper body- push, pull and chin ups, dead lifts and I have a set of rings that I do my upper work on.
Lower body- squats, skipping, running, riding
I once read a study that said if you thought about working out then you would lose more weight and gain more muscle then someone who does not think about working out. I do not know if it is true or not though.
