It's a video about the feeling of being androgyne, especially before I even considered or found out about it.

I'd say it's visually interesting enough.
Excellent! I don't know how much my feelings of not fitting in relate to being androgyne, or just that I've always been an artistic loner who doesn't fit in. But certainly, figuring out that I'm transgender and/or androgyne has helped. And finding all of you kindred spirits here has been good too ;D
OK darling, get back to finishing your deadline ;) Or else make us another couple of videos >:D

sitting around eating cheese...is that what the English do when they have spare time? hehe. I just really liked that line...and seriously, I could listen to you talk all day.
Well spoken as always. I really related to what you said about trying to talk to people, but not having them talk back and also about it not feeling like a gender thing because we don't have that basis. Well done!
wouldn't you sit around eating cheese?
actually...yes. Yes, I would. But the cheese is all the way across the apartment...

i'm drinking cherry wine at the moment
I really liked this video Pica, even better than the 'what an androgyne isn't' video. Maybe it was the Kiwi fruit, made me feel at home being a kiwi in all (though I think they originate in china as in "Chinese gooseberries"). Not that I like Kiwi fruit - makes me mouth feel all shredded. But they are a piece of kiwiana - we tend to have the on Pavlova (kind of a cake made from egg whites and sugar).
Made me sad though. Reminded me of my own confused childhood, feeling lost, disjointed, outside. I still feel like that more of less. I might make my own videos as a more non-cerebral emotive counterpart to your vids. Still not sure if I want to put myself out there like that though, my wife would not be happy.
i do like a pavlova, maybe for another vid. Content was better on this one, even if their was less flouncing.

I agree, I think the content was better.
You have a really nice way of presenting things. Do you lecture, teach or public speak? I think you would be good at it.
I grew up in the theatre and reading at church, I'm a shoddy actor though. I present too much.
My question -
If you try to describe this to a non-androgyne, would they truly understand, or would they just say "everybody feels like that"? Essentially write it off as something they believe they understand?
dunno, might need to interview defined non androgynes and non Ts.s
'dunno' just won't cut it, ginger. Pica, oh philosopher to the ancients - enlighten us.
Yeah. We demand to see the EVIDENCE!
i got no idea, i'm making it up as i go along, isn't everyone?
ahh-ight. guess we can leave our little genius alone for now.

I think that they probably won't understand it any more than it is for us to understand them. I once assumed that everyone felt like I do but they don't.
But I think one of Picas missions is to make it easier for other androgynes to realise what they are. They are the ones that will get it and maybe they will feel that little bit better about understanding themselves and knowing they are not alone.
You are not alone, My Children.

OMG, I hope we don't get into trying to define "true androgyne"... ;) :P

I have tried explaining it on a forum I run.
About half thought I was just like them, the other half think I am a transsexual, a very small percentage sort of got it and said it must be confusing.
The one thing that got the few to get it at all was explaining clothes shopping, going from the men's section into the women's section and not noticing. I am not entirely sure why (I have some ideas) but this was the one thing that made the few understand it a little.
do you not notice, or do you just not feel it applies.

The main thing I notice is that the colors and patterns are more interesting in the women's section.

A bit of both.
the only reason I shop in the women's section is because boys clothes don't fit. bleah. it is kind of weird though. shirts are always too big on top, through the shoulders and chest, the sleeves in long sleeved shirts hang past my finger tips, but the shirts are always too small around the hips. *sigh* i wish there was a magic ass shrinking pill or something...
colors, shmolors. I prefer black, white, and gray. Perhaps the occasional green or blue. And pink! I do love pink. Pink and black go wonderfully together. Yeah, I'm not androgyne...heh.
