:)More later, But this is to introduce myself. I'm 60 yrs. old, an intersexed man from Louisville, Ky. I just became separated from my wife of 14 months, whom I still love. But she will not take care of her mental illness, and at these times is nearly impossible to live with. She becomes very abusive and even violent. I have two grown sons. I live in a high-rise for the handicapped and elderly. I am not at this time on hormones, but was for several years when my health was better. I pass for male 100% and consider myself straight. I am pretty severely mobility challenged, and I use a power wheel-chair most of the time, but a very active in my church, with friends, etc. That is about all for now. I had surgery las week and I'm in pain and getting tired now. So, give me a holler, and tell me about yourself, guys and gals alike. Looking forward to meeting all of you.

Hi BigJim,
I'm a significant other here. Welcome. This is a great place to find support and to know that there are people out there going through similar situations to our own.
My significant other, Marco, also posts on this site. He is an FtM transsexual and is currently in transition. His "top surgery" is scheduled for Aug 7th. He is due to start hormones in the next few weeks. If you catch some of our posts around, you will soon figure out the hectic nature of our lives.
Hope you have a speedy recovery from your surgery!
Pam

Relax you are among friends.

Hey Jim
Welcome. I am an Intersexed male who also had to transition due to wrong labeling at birth. I pass 100% too and have been on this road a lot of years as it sounds like you have also.
I just got done going through some medical procedures and have another one with my spine next Tue. so I sort of know where you are coming from there as well. This has been a good place for me to read when I am on down time,, I think you may find it to be the same for you. Write anytime you want and can!
Peace,
Taylor

Welcome, Big Jim!
Get better soon! I hope you enjoy it here as much or even more (if possible) than I do. I'll look forward to reading more from you (I read EVERY post, lots of time but it's well spent, imo!)
Again, WELCOME!

Welcome, Jim.
Look up the Distant Healing Network if you like some free healing energy for your surgery recuperation.
Your story sounds familiar. Were you ever a member of the ElderTG newslist for those over the age of 50? We lost some member adresses last year when the hosting service had a massive server failure.
