Title: Have you ever noticed that.... (something we cherish)
Post by: Just Mandy on April 17, 2008, 12:43:09 PM
I thought it would be a fun to start a topic to point out the little things that maybe
some of us cherish as we transition.

So... have you ever noticed that...

When you sit on the toilet naked and look down, how incredibly female your body looks? I actually have
hips and a waist when sitting and I guess that's the only place that I'd be sitting naked.
It's a small thing(and maybe a little weird) but it makes me happy :)

I know what you mean. At 5 months HRT I don`t have that much in the hips but I love the little bit of hip I have grown. I have always had nothing there and now it is about a 1/2" of fat. It`s nothing but I love it. I could not stop hormones ever. And the way i feel. The t urges are almost gone. You can say the wrong thing to me now and I`ll ignor it. Good topic Amanda

QuoteIt's certainly a nice change from looking at mirrors under bathroom-style clinial lightning!

OMG that's perfect... I hate bathroom lighting, every flaw stand out like a beacon.

We have a large mirror hanging near our front entry and I call it the "magic mirror" because it is flooded
with natural light from windows. I look like a different person in that mirror, almost flawless really,
and when I feel down about my looks I go gaze into the magic mirror and it picks my spirits right up.

Leaving the male cocoon behind and embarking on the journey to womanhood was excruciatingly difficult at first and too often seemed impossible.

One moment very early in my journey helped a lot: When I was made up one night and checked out my looks in a mirror. Bright lighting exposed all the flaws, which was so discouraging. So I turned down the lights very low, and glimpsed a premonition of the beautiful woman I knew I had to become. That vision gave me hope to go on, to keep trying. Over time as my looks slowly improved, I could get the look I want with brighter and brighter lighting. Until now, when I've successfully transitioned, and am manifesting that vision of my beauty every day in broad (NPI) daylight.

Of course, no woman wants to be seen in harsh lighting, and candlelight dinners are considered romantic for a good reason.

Reason too that rockers never take a girl back to the bus without seeing her in a strong white light first either.
