I'll be going to see the Dalai Lama tomorrow. ^_^
He's giving a public lecture and stuff this weekend a couple hours away from where I live. So my girlfriend and I decided to go. I consider myself a Therevadan Buddhist, but the main principles are the same and I don't think many people would pass up an opportunity to listen to him speak.
Just thought I'd let anybody know in case anybody was interested. I'll try and remember what he says and maybe post some of it if I can. Although I can't promise much because my brain doesn't hold information as well as I'd like it to. ??? *lol* ;)

I heard that anybody who goes to meet him expecting to remember his teachings instantly goes braindead once they are in his presence.
Tell me how it goes ::)
Definitely a good thing I checked this thread before I decided to leave! ^_^
Thanks for the tip.
I've gone to two of his conferences on mind science and buddhism.
He is one of only 2 people I've known who inspires immediate reverence and deep respect.
You will find the time well spent.
Om shanti.
