Title: Whats Going on in My Life
Post by: CarolOzGirl on June 07, 2006, 05:16:01 AM
After what seemed to be a process which was going to be a longer than a Tolstoy novel, at last I have it my referal to the endo, yesterday seemed like it would never come.

Today when I woke I felt very happy with my life and the direction it is now going.

So if any of you feel like its not going to happen, it will given time.

That's wonderful, Caroline! Congrats!

What an incredible milestone. It must be an incredible relief? Do you know yet if/when you're going to start?

Carol, I predict that 30 days after starting your hormones, you'll turn over in bed, say, "Ouch," and smile.

Ah, I remember that morning in 1998.

It's also fun trying to relearn how to carry heavy stuff, since you're taught to carry it close to your body.  The new way is actually pretty simple, have a man do it for you. :D

Hi Kate, I am going to the endo next week so I should know more after that appointment.

Thank you and a big hug to everyone for your kind words of support, I did not know that I had so many wonderful
friends, it is my honour to share this odyssey with you.

Love

I just love that you can be light hearted and see the humorous side of being transsexual.  I do this all the time.  Some of the things about us, are just funny. I think it is important to not take life seriously all the time and always be able to laugh at myself.

Thanks for making me smile.

Love always,
Elizabeth

I'm glad I made you smile.  That's really how I've always been.  I guess I'm kind of a jester (not a gesture  :o) and just always try to make people laugh or smile.  A good sense of humor is something my family has always had.
