A ceremony honoring the memory of Amancio Corrales will be observed
with a demonstration of unity and support on May 6.
The ceremony will take place at Johnson Mortuary and Desert Lawn
Memorial Park , 1415 S. First Ave. The event is open to the public and
will begin at 6:30 p.m. and end at 7:30 p.m.
Corrales, a gay man who performed as a female impersonator known as
Dalila, was found floating in the Colorado River, just west of Joe
Henry Park, with multiple stab wounds on May 6, 2005.
