So, most of yall know that I am in a very serious relationship and couldn't be any happier.
We talk about how we are "LP's" meaning Life Partners. However, it's not official or anything.
I also told him how Texas doesn't accept nor grant gay marriage. However, they won't change my sex either. So, we can legally get married haha :) stupid Texas doesn't realize that they are screwed either way
I know I'm only 18, but I honestly couldn't love anyone else more. We are absolutely perfect for each other (which is weird, because we are SO opposite) and he is the only person who completely accepts me for who I am (and I mean every little thing about me). I figure it like this. True love doesn't have an age restriction. Some people just find their Mr. or Mrs. Right before others.
Anyway, we are planning a trip in August or September to maybe (most likely) Disney World in Florida, depending on how much money we both have. I was thinking of officially proposing to him. Not necessarily asking him to marry me, but officiating our life partnership. We could plan a wedding later, when our families are more comfortable with us.
What do yall think about this one? I know he wants a very plain, simple ring.

What are your thoughts? Please don't criticize my age or anything unless you feel it's absolutely necessary. Anyway, thoughts?
Congratulations.
Congrats dude.
The ring's nice. Personally I prefer a thicker band
If I were a rich man I'd get this-

Ahhh to dream.
Very gorgeous. I'm willing to do that for him but he's boring and doesn't like fancy lol
congrats. way to stick it to Texas, eh?
i couldn't imagine getting married at 18. i can't even imagine getting married at 27
oh... the ring. i like simple bands like that.
Texas is lame...they deserve to get screwed, right where it counts! Congrats to you and your partner! Cool ring, but there's no rock.
Well, we technically aren't getting married yet.
Just doing the gay thing of being life partners. More like promise rings for now :) Any ideas how to pop the question? (so to speak lol)
Name a star after him. lol

That's cool. Opposites like each other ;) congrats :) :) :)
Knowing him, if I named a star after him, he would be like "Well, where is it?" And the only cute part about it would be us not even being able to find it lol
congrats ^^ no criticism here hun, just be careful. I've deathly loved a few and found myself upside-down.
I am quite smitten. However, I think he is the one.
I've always had the worst problems with dating. It was never really them, it was me. My boyfriend is the exact same way until now.
I'm very excited that you have found such love, I'm jealous ^^ Yeah I'm like my mother, I don't know how to pick em'
Congrats, Brady! I don't think you can be too young, as long as it's legal! :P When Aria & I were married, she was 19 and I was 24. A lot of people thought we were too young, insane, etc, but we loved each other, and we've been married a year and a half now.
Just don't hold out hope for Texas... I think Canada may be your best bet for a legal union. However, I've always held the belief that as long as you're committed to your partner, a legal document is irrelevant. The wife and I only made it legal for practical purposes. Best of luck to you and your fiance.

Thanks all. I'll try to get a picture of us up on here, eventually.
He's quite the stud muffin :)
You can get married in Oregon, we just passed civil unions, or whatever they're called. You can even change the little on F on your drivers license to an M. :icon_boogy:
What about New York? I know Mass. does.
I'm not sure about NY. It seems like they probably would have some legal rights for same sex couples getting hitched, but I'm not sure.
