Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - "Ugly Betty" fans will be getting more of Betty and less of Alexis Meade next season on "Ugly Betty." The character of Alexis Meade, the transsexual editor at Meade Publications, is played by Rebecca Romijn.
According to TV Guide, Romijn will not be returning to the show as a series regular next season, but instead as a recurring character. The producers want to refocus the show back onto lovable Betty, played by America Ferrera.
