I went through the drive-thru at a Starbucks in a town close to mine yesterday. When I pulled up the window, I gave the girl my debit card. Then, as I was waiting, another worker there came and opened the window and started talking to me about my car and if I like it because she wants one (XTerra). Then, she handed me my coffee and said "Just so you know, you are really cute." I just kind of laughed and smiled, I guess I blushed and said "Thanks...I think you made me blush a bit" and she turned to her co-worker and said "Aww! HE's precious!"
Those Starbucks workers really know how to pump our egos

But Brady, why the big surprise ? You really do look a cute guy .... guess a fair bit younger than your real age .... and any young woman I'm sure would go for you .... ;) ....
Guess the guys I go for are a fair bit older than you (well decades older .... :( .... ) and they tend to be more "lived in" and rugged .... often say to a guy that he "looks good" or has "really nice features", that he "turns me on", but if I called any of the guys I meet "cute" he might raise eyebrows .... ::) ....
Sure I'd use the word describing the guy to girlfriends, but as much to describe the way he acts and treats me rather than looks, as least in the UK lookswise "cute = pretty".
Laura x
Haha, I get called "pretty" a lot.
I think it's just my metrosexual/homosexual style that makes me "pretty" not actual features lol

Hehe thanks Gorgeous.
I think I'm going to change my default picture.
Which one do yall like more? New or old?
Which is more masculine?
You are definitely a cute guy, Brady. And I imagine that when you hear that it has a lot more to do with your looks than it does a 'metrosexual/homosexual' style!! ;)
Congrats on the attraction from the barista.

don't they have overpriced places there where they take too long for one simple order, often get it wrong, and then are rude about it?

It wouldn't be the tip thing working in there would it?
Sure hope not. I had already tipped by that point though.
I watch our drop-dead pretty bar staff chat people up all the time. Guys they would never talk to in a million years IRL.

I'm still waiting for someone to tell me how a cup of coffee is almost two bucks, but its only five bucks a half pound.

Me too, but I'm going to save my money to try the Starbucks Test....and see how well I do... :icon_chick: ;D
Starbucks infiltrated New Zealand a few years ago... there's about three or four (dozen? XD ) down Queen St alone (It's our big main road down the center of our inner city and it only takes about 10 minutes to walk down it) But I never go to them cause they're way more expensive than any other coffee place and way more complicated than they need to be. So I go to Dunkin Donuts,it helps that it's right beside my school XD I don't even have to order anymore, they see me and they get my my large latte, three sugars, student discount.
Plus, I like the cute Asian and Indian girls there who smile at me >:D
