Title: Stress-relief comedies
Post by: findingreason on May 16, 2008, 02:07:40 PM
So, what do you all enjoy to give yourself a chance to relief some stress by laughing at our problems?

A couple I can think of:

1. Episode 18 of Two and a Half Men, An Old Flame With A New Wick. An episode when Charlie's old girlfriend Jill wants to get back together as friends, but now she has become a he. I practically died laughing at this one.

2. The manga series Pretty Face. It's about a high-school student Rando, who ends up in a severe bus crash, and put into a coma for 1 year. His face was burned beyond recognition, but perverted plastic-surgeon Manabe restores his face; but to the picture in his pocket. The picture is of his high-school crush, Rina. He must live as a girl, and he ends up running into Rina, who mistakes him for her twin-sister, Yuna. So, he ends up playing role as Rina's twin sister, as he tries to find a way back to his manhood, and runs through a number of typical Japanese manga comedy moments, which make it very hilarious. Granted, there is some perverted stuff, but that is typical in Japanese anime/manga.

How about everyone else? What do you watch/listen/read to relieve stress through comedy?
