Title: Hip Implants?
Post by: Gracie Faise on May 18, 2008, 08:38:05 PM
I was just thinking... If nothing happens to my hips as I continue HRT (which i seriously doubt, but a girl can dream, eh?) and body fat migration doesn't change much in the hip department, is there a procedure that could widen my hips?

Like an inserts that cap the pelvic girdle or femur or even an implant or something that widens the pelvis in the same way puberty does to ciswomen? I dunno, my hips are my biggest concern lately so I've just been thinking about it.

Even if there was, like all plastic surgery it would have to be redone in 5-15 years.  Considering the amount of motion... sooner than later.
Then you have the issues of whatever they put in you getting messed up, or running into your blood stream.  But Arnold got plastic in his calves for bodybuilding purposes, and the calves see an amazing amount of motion.

But I feel ya.  It's my main concern, and I'm not even on HRT anymore!

Ms. Close supposedly got hip implants.  I thought about that as soon as I read this thread but it took me forever to track this down:

Hi, Gracie,

I have never heard of any way for widening one's pelvis, however, I have heard of hip implants.

One of my friends told me that she had padding added in Brazil but it was a very painful recovery.  I suppose she should know what pain is.  She has had many surgical procedures.

Hope this helps.

There certanly is such procedure... Hard silicone implants are placed on
the hip to give rounder, fuller appearence. As far as i know over here (in
Europe) it isn't very rare procedure since i've seen on the websites quite
a few clinics performig it.

I don't know if this is true, but i read somewhere that Dana Inernational
famous ts singer had both breast (breast beeing abvious, though) and hip
implants, so you can see many of her videos on youtube and get the
picture of possible results
