Title: STP Modification
Post by: Jamie-o on May 22, 2008, 12:41:18 PM
A lot of guys have trouble getting so that they can use their STP devices without having accidents. Someone on another board suggested replacing the medicine spoon cup with a baby bottle nipple.  He said it put an end to embarrassing accidents for him.

Also, I came across this detailed description of how to make your own: http://www.hg-prosthetics.com/files/stand_%20to_%20pee.PDF (http://www.hg-prosthetics.com/files/stand_%20to_%20pee.PDF)

Somebody here described this method not too long ago, but this pdf file goes into more detail and comes with pix and everything.   :)

Very helpful, thanks Jamie-O. Going camping next weekend, so I might give this a try.

Is a nipple much larger than the standard receptacle?  I was thinking of using something like a bulb syringe like you'd use for kid snot or ears and cut off most of the bulb.  Seems like it would be softer against sensitive parts and wider so I don't have to fiddle with finding the urethra every time.

I ordered a new prosthetic and want to modify it for stp but I'm not a huge fan of the mango tubing.
