DC Strokes Rowing Club (DCSRC) will host the first US Rowing sanctioned regatta of the year in the mid-Atlantic region. Over 400 Masters rowers from across the country will come to Washington, DC to participate in the 15th Annual Stonewall Regatta, where they will compete for medals in various categories.

DC Strokes Rowing Club, the regatta's host, believes that gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) rowers can be formidable athletes and competitors. Today, DCSRC is one of only two dedicated, independent GLBT rowing clubs in the world. DCSRC programs are open to all rowers, and the club aspires foremost to create a safe and supportive environment for GLBT rowers and their allies. DCSRC is committed to bridging gaps between communities by building an inclusive environment, fostering personal growth, and promoting the true spirit of sportsmanship.
