I don't get any popup, maybe your machine has a virus. Even if you see a 'click here to scan your computer' notice, you don't ever.

I had something similar happen on the Jane Austen quiz it must be a quiz farm banner ad but wasn't sure because I had multiple windows open. I'm sorry if it cause any problems I will delete the link to quiz farm.
