Congratulations to the young staff and adult mentors and volunteers who worked on the newest edition of the magazine 110°: Tucson's Youth Tell Tucson's Stories, which is inside today's Star. The magazine is published through a partnership between the youth documentary arts organization VOICES, the Star and other community supporters.
This edition includes first-person accounts of being transgender, the lasting effects of being bullied, examinations of Mexican-American identity and the path to transcendence.
