Title: Just like them :)
Post by: stephanie_craxford on June 29, 2006, 05:41:53 AM
I received a phone call from a girl friend on Monday night inviting me to join her and another girl friend for supper on Tuesday night.  Of course I said yest and we all met for supper.  It was a pretty good evening, food was good as was the company.  We were sitting around the dining table chatting and finishing our wine, and I adjusted my bra strap, and in doing so my tattoo showed, no big deal.  One of the girls asked whats the tattoo of so I pulled back my shirt and showed her part of it, and the other girl said you should see what it looks like on her back.  The girl said show me and I kinda hesitated as that would mean dropping my shirt off my shoulders.  Anyway they said "come on you don't have anything different than us, lets see".  So I did.

It felt kinda nice that they weren't the least concerned about my body, they didn't see anything different.  Yep kinda nice.

Exactly.  Once we have breasts and lack chest hair, there is no reason we should be afraid of acting like any other girl.  Congratulations Steph.

As they say on the car forums I visit,

"This thread is useless without pics!"

LOL...

Seriously though, that is so cool...

Steph, you just fit right in. Showing off your tattoos. LOL I had a similar experience last year where I work. I had just come off my morning route and one of the girls had to go out and they told her she had to change her top as tank tops were not appropriate form of attire. We were the same size as she was a big girl. So we went into the restroom and I gave her my top and I took hers and she was able to drive the mid morning route. We didn't think anything about it.

I know it's really, really nice.  The other thing that happened was that the girl that invited us over had been shopping for cloths and we ended up in her bedroom and she showed us them.  One of the tops was too small, and she asked me to try it on to see if it fit.  I knew by just looking at it that it wouldn't, but the point was that I was included and there would not have been a problem if I had taken off my top to try it on.

Yep it's really really nice.

I'm beginning to reconsider my vote in that Acceptance vs. Passing thread... ;)
