"(Montgomery County, Maryland, June 5, 2008) --- At a hearing on
Wednesday, June 11th in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County,
Lambda Legal and Equality Maryland will urge the Court to invalidate a
referendum petition seeking to overturn an act, unanimously passed by
the Montgomery County Council, that adds gender identity as a
protected characteristic to the County antidiscrimination law."
